ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING AND REPORTING
The Liebert OpenComms EM environmental monitor is a compact, half-duplex device designed to monitor data center insfrastructure temperature, humidity, water detection and contact closure and notify personnel when those conditions exceed user-defined limits.
The Liebert OpenComms EM data center monitoring solution is available in several models, which vary in size and number and types of ports. All models have sensor ports to monitor temperature, humidity, water detection and contact closure, and all models have either an external or built-in temperature/humidity sensor. The Liebert OpenComms EM supports a 10Mbit Ethernet connection and provides the following functionality: Web interface using HTTP, user authentication, e-mail and paging notification, SNMP support including Nform and graphing.
- Liebert OpenComms EM controller takes up zero U rack space and can support any combination of two sensors. The supported sensors are temperature, humidity, temperature and humidity combination and contact closure.
- Liebert EM PDU controller version has two sensor ports and two serial ports for connection to the Liebert Managed Power Advanced Power Strips. It takes up zero U rack space.

RACK PERFORMANCE MONITORING DEVICE
PROACTIVE INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT FOR ITS RACK EQUIPMENT
The Liebert® RDU-S™ Rack Performance Monitoring Device is designed to monitor the environment in electronic equipment racks and rooms through various types of sensors and cameras. The unit can accommodate multiple sensors, such as temperature, humidity, water, smoke, motion and door sensors. It can also be used for remote notification such as activating a beacon light to report problems. The Liebert RDU-S is Ethernet-ready and Web-enabled.
The compact design makes it suitable for installation in a rack, where it takes up little space, or it may be mounted on a wall for access without opening the equipment rack.

DEVICE CONTROLLERS
Autochangeover controllers ideal for coordinated control of systems with redundant equipment, such as multiple environmental units or pumps. When the controller detects an alarm in an operating device, a standby device is enabled and the device in alarm is either disabled or left operating as configured.
AUTOMATIC SWITCHING FOR THERMAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
Liebert AC4 and AC8 autochangeover controllers are ideal for coordinated control of systems with redundant equipment, such as multiple environmental units or pumps. When the controller detects an alarm in an operating device, a standby device is enabled and the device in alarm is either disabled or left operating as configured.
Liebert Controllers monitor running and stand-by environmental units for proper operation, switching operation to a redundant unit in the event of a problem. The controllers will also balance the runtime of environmental systems to ensure even component wear and long system life.
- Liebert AC4 is a four device controller with LCD display and terminal interface. Powered by 24VAC.
- Liebert AC8 is an eight device controller with Liebert SiteScan Web compatibility and modem interface. Powered by 120VAC.

The Liebert vNSA network switch interconnects cooling units equipped with iCOM controls, allowing the units to communicate and function as a team, and allowing lead/lag operation. The Liebert vNSA is available with a variety of port connections, and also in models that include an embedded iCOM display. Input power is supplied by a universal power supply.
